Right on schedule, and seeming to arrive almost overnight, our neighborhood meadows, even lawns, are flush with golden carpets of buttercups. This brilliant Northwest version, the Creeping buttercup, is one of many welcome additions to Bellingham's many emerging wildflower mosaics.
